The shelter staff think I am 6 years old.

My name is Ella and I am 55 pounds of beautiful girl with a gray silky coat. I came to the shelter through no fault of my own. I am a friendly, playful, house-trained, and crate-trained dog who is easily leashed and loves to go for walks, though I just need a little patience while we practice our leash skills. I already know several voice commands and cannot wait to learn more, especially if it involves playing in the water. I have lived with other dogs before, but I would do best in a home without cats or any other small animals. Please bring any possible dog siblings up to meet me so we can be absolutely sure that we are a perfect match.
